NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever Release Has Been Rocky

NBA 2K21 was released on September 4, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and will later be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Not only was the Mamba Forever version very confusing as far as what was included with the actual game but many have been unable to redeem their codes for the extra content. The most common issue seems to be people successfully redeeming their codes on Playstation Network or Xbox Live but the extra content is not appearing in game.

Six days since the launch, players are STILL experiencing issues with redeeming the codes that come with the Mamba Forever Edition which costs $99.99. Subreddit moderator yyy2k of r/NBA2k posted a thread on September 7th with the "fix"

Full power cycle of your console = turn off your console, unplug it from the wall for 15 seconds, and then turn it back on. If your bonuses still do not appear, open a ticket with 2K Support so they can check behind the scenes to see what the issue is.

Not only are people responding that the fix is not working but that tickets created with 2K support have not been very helpful due to how unresponsive support has been. 2K support is notorious for their horrible customer service.

If you are having issues with redeeming your Mamba Edition codes, you can post in the thread. It appears yyy2k has graciously taken upon himself to help others out with this issue.

Have you been having issues? What do you think about this years version of NBA 2K? Let us know in the comments!
